FROM THE EAST
Hello and Happy Holidays!
I know that it has been a long time since we have put out a trestle-board, so lets get caught up. 2019 is all but gone and that means we have started our new year at the Lodge. In the beginning of December we had our Officer Installation. Lets meet our new line |
W.M. - Steve Ricketts, PM * S.W. - Randy Kelly, PM * J.W. - Larry Witcher, PM
Treasurer - Toby Housley * Secretary - John Davis, PM * Chaplain - Dustin Day
S.D. - Scott Miller * J.D. - Jim Freeman * Tiler - John Barneson.
Congratulations and Good Luck!
December also gave us a chance to give out our Christmas Baskets that we worked all year to raise money for. On Saturday the 21st, we participated in an event for the Yuba Feather Elementary School with the American Legion Post 807, E.C.V. Riley Chapter, and Forbestown Lodge #50. The Clampers served a free pancake breakfast, The American Legion handled the toy run and our Lodge handed out food baskets, blankets, beanies and mittens. The best part was our own Brother, Toby Housley, as Santa. It was a well attended event and a lot of needy families went home with a lot of good stuff. I would like to thank all of our guys that came out to help, that is what Christmas is all about! Until next time -
Thank You.

A big THANK YOU to Richard Wanacott for making our evening special as he got several of our old gas lamps working for our installation. Brother Gill took several nice photos for me to post which I don't have on my laptop at this time... I will post more later as I will not be able to get all our news from the last several months in this. I, as usual am extremely short of time these days...

I will close, for today, this short Trestleboard in Memory of Brother Ralph Prater. My heart truly aches with his passing. He is the reason I started doing this Trestleboard. He asked if I would and because it was Ralph, I said yes. And sadly, with his passing, it seems fitting that my plans are to be moving on to new horizons this year too. The Forbestown Trestleboard will, in the not to distant future, belong in someone else's hands.
