The fine gentlemen of our Lodge taking time to participate in the celebration of "Forbestown". The parade route is all of about one block. Most people congregating near the park. It was a fun day. There were the usual booths with many things for sale. A local deer that wandered amongst the crowd looking for a little bit of affection... The museum was open as was the "Gold Trader Flat" with it's Mercantile, Sheriff's Office, The Homestead, music, "townsfolk", etc... |
Note from the editor: The month of August has come and gone and our next Lodge meeting is upon us. Due to a new arrival in our family (a grand daughter in Denver) this person was unable to keep up with demands and fulfill the duty of putting together the trestleboard on time (which means at least completing it before the month is through!). A trip to Denver was in order which has thrown my unorganized self into total disarray! My sincere apologies on the lateness and shortened August version!

Activities had slowed for the month of August as many of our groups went dark... I don't have any current upcoming activities to list, but am sure I will be made aware of them as September is here and we will all be in full swing once again. There will be meetings to attend and announcements made. Let me know if you have something to post!
